Order update for 9/17/2020

Hi all,

Happy Thursday. Here are the following production updates:

Orders ready / delivered:

The Schenectady CSD order of 500 shields was delivered earlier this week!

The Scotia CSD order of 100 shields is complete and ready for pickup.

The Mechanicville order 100 shields is complete and ready for pickup. This order pushed the total number of free 3D printed shields to 7000.

Both the Scotia and Mechanicville orders, as was the Schenectady order previously, will be delivered by the Schenectady East Rotary Group.

Orders queuing:

1) Albany CSD: 410 (In Progress)

2) Arbor Hill Elementary: Additional 250 (Queued - Ordered on 9/14/2020)

3) Schenectady Board of Elections: 200 Queued

To help keep order turn around times quick, we will be purchasing another Prusa MK3S printer. This delivered should be received and assembled in approximately 3 weeks.

Finally, we will be opening a donations page soon. However, it should be noted that we will continue to produce PPE for free to anyone who needs it. No donation is required. That being said, we thank this weeks generous donors:

We are thrilled to announce that 100% of all donations will go towards shield production. As such, Thomas and Michael's contributions, used for material purchases, will collectively funding the creation of 132 shields (66 and 66)!
